QakBot : New Trojan Variant

The cybercriminals behind the QBot malware have used the Windows calculator to execute a malicious payload on infected computers. This version of QBot is distributed as part of phishing campaigns.

The Qbot malware, also known as Qakbot, attacks Windows-based machines and is a banking trojan that is also used to deploy other malware (including ransomware). It uses different methods and cybercriminals are always looking for new ways to slip through the cracks and avoid detection by the machine's protection systems.
