Germany’s Maklersoftware Breached, Listed among Black Basta’s Victim List

According to a report dated February 22, 2023, the BlackBasta ransomware cybercriminal group has added the German company Maklersoftware GmbH, an independent application service provider, to its list of attacked victims. For the time being, no details have been released regarding the ransom or the type of data that has been stolen. However, it seems possible that the attack was carried out via an attack on the company's supply chain, via one of the as yet undisclosed third-party suppliers.
