Lille town hall victim of a cyberattack

According to a report dated March 1, 2023, the French city of Lille has been the victim of a cyber attack. The city, according to officials, has suffered an intrusion into its information systems. The city has also warned that the protective measures put in place are affecting the functioning of municipal services: access to the city's telephone platform is inoperative until further notice and the civil status service is operating in a manual manner. Although no information has been communicated on this subject, the method of action of the town hall suggests that the attack could be a ransomware attack.
