According to the CyberKnow media, the pro-Russian hacktivist group "Russian Cyber Army" has announced that it is targeting a Finnish imaging satellite belonging to the ICEYE company. ICEYE has an agreement with a Ukrainian foundation owned by Sergei Prytula to provide them with imagery, probably for military purposes, according to the hacktivist group. The cybercriminal group RagnarLocker claims to have attacked the National Natural Gas System Operator (DESFA), a Greek company responsible for managing, operating, developing and running the country's natural gas system.  RagnarLocker allegedly took the company's data, posted proof of its theft online and threatened to expose the data on the web if the victim did not contact him.  Read more about it : here

Five municipalities in South Limburg were recently hit by a cyber attack. In the process, the administration of the social domain was locked down. As a result, data about social security benefits, youth care, the Social Support Act and energy allowances were no longer accessible. Meanwhile, the problem has been solved. Cyber attack against Maldegem: data of thousands of PSWC recipients published Cyber criminals managed to break into the computer system of the Public Welfare Centre of Maldegem (province of East Flanders) in July and stole the personal data of thousands of citizens. This was announced by the municipality on its website on Friday. The hackers asked the authorities to pay a ransom in bitcoins. But this was refused by the municipality, which also warns its residents to be careful if they receive dubious emails or phone calls.   Read more about it : here

Dans un communiqué de presse publié ce jour, le groupe Hensoldt indique que sa filiale française Nexeya est confrontée à une cyberattaque de grande ampleur et à fort impact. Dans son communiqué, le groupe indique que, « selon les connaissances actuelles, les deux centres de calcul de Nexeya en France sont concernés », que des données ont « probablement » été volées et que les systèmes de l’environnement ont « chiffrés dans une large mesure ». According to the media "BetterCyber", a new group of cyber criminals called D0nut has claimed responsibility for a ransomware attack and ransom demand against the Spanish construction company Sando.  This attack highlights this new group possibly having its own malware and leak site.  Read more about it : here

Le Centre hospitalier Sud Francilien (CHSF), à Corbeil-Essonnes, est fortement impacté depuis dimanche par une cyberattaque. Une rançon de 10 millions de dollars est demandée par les cyber-assaillants. L'un des plus grands hôpitaux d'Ile-de-France est fortement impacté depuis dimanche par une attaque lancée par des pirates informatiques. Selon les informations recueillies par RMC, les personnels du Centre hospitalier Sud Francilien (CHSF), à Corbeil-Essonnes (Essonne), ont constaté de gros problèmes de réseau vers 2 heures du matin. The cybercrime group "ViceSociety" is claiming responsibility for the ransomware attack on the French administration of the Indre et Loire department and on the Higher Council for Scientific Research in Spain. The initial attack took place on 10 July for the french administration, and although the claim is public, no information on the amount of ransom demanded has yet been released. The department recommends for the time being not to open emails with its address as they could be fraudulent emails.  Read more about it : here
