Back in business: the Cl0p group is backAlexander AntipovCyber ransomware retreated a bit from the geopolitical upheavals and rushed into battle again. The return of the group Cl0p says a new report from the NCC Group.
The researchers noticed a sharp jump in the number of victims: from 1 victim in March to 21 in April.
Like the infamous ransomware gangs Conti and Lockbit, Cl0p targets the industrial and technology sectors. "The increase in Cl0p activity indicates the group's return to the cybercriminal arena.
