New variant of Nokoyawa ransomware discovered

New variant of Nokoyawa ransomware Alexander Antipov discovered Ransomware of $1.5M and the ability to decrypt multiple files in advance.
The attacker improved the Nokoyawa ransomware by reusing code from publicly available sources.
Much of the added code was copied from the Babuk ransomware code; The ransom note changed the way the attacker was contacted.
Encrypted files are added with the .NOKOYAWA extension, and a ransom note is written to the NOKOYAWA_readme.txt file in each encrypted directory. Earlier, cybersecurity researchers discovered a new version of Chaos ransomware builder called Yashma that can stop antivirus and backup software from working.
