BlackCat attack on Ayuntamiento

On 6 December 2022, the BlackCat group claimed to have launched an attack on the Spanish municipality of Ayuntamiento de Requena, near Valencia. The group states in its claim that they have financial documents and documents about the work of the municipality. It is also possible that the servers used by the town hall have been encrypted, though no statement has yet been made about this.
