In Saône-et-Loire, the Bourbon-Lancy casino closed for a week after being

According to a report dated May 2, 2023, the French casino of Bourbon-Lancy, part of the Vikings group, was the victim of a "ransomware" type cyberattack that affected all eleven of the group's casinos. 

As a result of this cyber attack, the establishments had to close temporarily, including the Bourbon-Lancy casino which had to remain closed for a week. IT services detected the attack on April 19, 2023 and shut down the information system to protect the data. No data theft has been identified at this point, but investigations are underway to determine the impact of the attack. The Bourbon-Lancy casino was able to reopen its doors on Friday, April 28.
