Thales is cyber securing Galileo Second generation
Confirming years of expertise in securing space programs, Thales will cyber secure Galileo Second generation.
The provided cyber security services and solutions will be part of Europe’s largest satellite system security monitoring programme. Thales is leading the consortium, including the Italian group Leonardo and will manage automated incident response as well as network traffic monitoring.
In the continuity of the first phase of the programme, Galileo second generation will be better adapted to new threats targeting space systems, while including new security maintenance requirements and an improvement to the PRS service.
