Red Cross: cyberattack was very sophisticated, says official

The cyberattack on the International Committee of the Red Cross in January bore the hallmarks of an action by a state or a group with equivalent resources, the organisation's head of IT security said. "According to the people doing the analysis (of the attack), the operation was very sophisticated and targeted," Massimo Marelli told the development news platform Devex, which published the interview on Monday.
