The Ministry of Defense and the Office of the President of the Republic of France have selected Ercom to secure their mobile communications

Ercom, a French secure communication expert, deploys and operates its Cryptosmart solution (the only Restricted Level solution certified by France’s ANSSI and approved by France Cybersécurité) at the Ministry of Defense and the Office of the President of the Republic of France.

The contract with the Joint Direction of Infrastructure Networks and Information Systems (DIRISI, attached to the Ministry of Defense) covers communication and endpoint security (voice, data and SMS) for 20,000 users.

This choice confirms the leadership and expertise acquired by Ercom, a high technology SME and member of Hexatrust.

Customers acknowledge the relevance and effectiveness of the Cryptosmart solution:

  • The Ministry of Defense and other public administrations, including the Elysee Palace and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, have deployed the Cryptosmart solution integrated by Orange.
  • Samsung and Ercom are jointly developing a complete solution to secure applications, voice, data, and SMS traffic, on mobile devices.
  • Many organizations, governments, administrations, and large French and international corporations have also implemented Cryptosmart.

“…We are delighted to support such prestigious and demanding clients. Our products, presented during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, meet the highest security requirements while providing the best user experience to facilitate customer adoption,” explains Yannick Dupuch, CEO, Ercom.
